Compassion in Action

Our Mission
At Ministry of Compassion, our mission is to restore dignity, purpose, and community connection in the lives of men navigating reentry from incarceration, homelessness, and active addiction. We serve individuals who are ready to engage in long-term recovery by providing a safe, structured, and supportive sober living environment.
Our program is rooted in integrating accountability, peer support, and trauma-informed care. We believe each person carries inherent worth and untapped potential. We help unlock that potential through personalized support, spiritual and emotional guidance, and practical life development.
We provide more than housing—we offer a robust recovery program within our homes, equipping residents with the tools and structure needed to maintain sobriety, build self-efficacy, and reestablish trust within themselves and their communities.
What We Offer
Our vision is to empower the homeless and neglected ones. We enable them to unlock their fullest potential and breathe new life into the God-given gifts they possess.
We aspire to liberate them from the shackles of addiction and homelessness, ushering them into a transformative journey fueled by divine intervention.

Life is a journey marked by struggles, triumphs, and the lessons we learn along the way. Our mistakes do not define us; they teach us and mold our hearts with the wisdom of experience. Though we may falter we all deserve grace—a chance to rise again and rebuild what was lost. Everyone deserves that second chance, to be seen not for who they were but for who they can become.
Ways to Support/Get involved.
-
Your financial support directly impacts the lives of men transitioning from incarceration or overcoming life’s obstacles. Every contribution helps us provide essential services, including housing, hygiene products, counseling, and life skills programs that empower our residents to rebuild their lives.
-
Share your wisdom, time, and experience as a mentor. By offering guidance and emotional support you play a crucial role in helping our residents navigate their journey toward recovery and reintegration into society.
-
Help us spread the word! By sharing our mission with your network, you amplify our message and connect others with the opportunity to support our cause. Together, we can make a greater impact on the lives of those we serve.
-
Basic necessities like food and clothing are critical to helping our residents feel secure and supported. Your donation of nonperishable items and gently used clothing, including blankets, coats, socks, etc… ensure our men have access to essential resources as they work toward a fresh start.
